EU Settlement Scheme - Supporting Vulnerable People
COSLA is working with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to provide Scotland-wide assistance to councils in supporting vulnerable people through the EUSS application service.
These vulnerable individuals may include:
- people who are older,
- people with disabilities,
- people who are homeless and rough sleepers,
- people from Roma communities,
- survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery,
- and young care-leavers.
Alongside outreach to marginalised populations, IOM’s OISC certified caseworker can provide qualified immigration advice, help with language interpretation, IT and technical requirements, guidance on identification documents and proof of residence evidence and direct face-to-face assistance to individuals submitting applications.
For more information see the IOM project information sheet.
To request support for an individual(s) please email firstname.lastname@example.org - and please highlight that you are based in Scotland so that the email reaches our caseworker.
