The SWANs project is designed to help support young Syrian girls who are socially isolated to become fully integrated “New Scots”. This is done in partnership between Education and HSCP with support from Housing to run a fun friendly session fortnightly for a small group of 12-16 year old girls. The group explore together a range of topics which support the participants through looking at health, games, socialising and a variety of activities, as well as creating an environment where open honest conversations can take place and new sessions can be co-produced through these discussions.
