The group has evolved from an approach by a group of churches who invited the Syrian ladies to come and join their group to chat and knit! The group now sew, knit, crochet, bead and dress make. Both Syrian and local women meet together and share conversation, time, and foods and learn new skills. They meet in a local church hall. The ladies decide what they are working on and materials, wool and sewing machines have been donated by local sewing and quilting groups.
